Privacy summary

We collect information you give us and information that is generated automatically when you use our site, mainly so we can take orders, ship products, manage subscriptions, provide customer service, and run our business. We do not sell your personal information for money. Like most online stores, we do use standard advertising and analytics technologies that may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws, and you can opt out of that at any time. Details are below.

Categories of personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, billing and shipping address, email address, and phone number.
  • Account information: login credentials and the contents of your account dashboard, including your subscription status and order history.
  • Order and transaction information: the products you buy, order amounts, subscription plans, renewal dates, and similar commercial information.
  • Payment information: payment card or other payment details, which are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
  • Customer service information: the messages, questions, and requests you send us, including any details you choose to share when you contact support or request a refund under our 90-Day Foundation Guarantee.
  • Reviews and user content: any review, rating, photo, or other content you choose to submit.
  • Internet and device activity: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and similar usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Approximate location: general location inferred from your IP address (for example, your city or region), which we do not use to pinpoint your precise physical location.
  • Inferences: conclusions drawn from the above, such as product interests and preferences, used to improve our store and offers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. Our products and website are intended for adults.

Sources of personal information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, start or manage a subscription, write a review, sign up for emails, or contact customer service.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you browse and use our website.
  • From service providers that help us operate the store, such as our ecommerce platform, payment processors, shipping and fulfillment partners, email and review providers, and analytics and advertising providers.

Why we collect personal information (our purposes)

We use personal information for the following business purposes:

  • To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping products and sending order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To set up and manage your subscription, including monthly renewals, and to process cancellations you request from your account dashboard.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud.
  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To provide customer service and to handle requests under our 90-Day Foundation Guarantee.
  • To display and manage product reviews.
  • To send marketing and promotional messages where permitted, and to let you opt out of them.
  • To operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and offerings using standard analytics.
  • To show and measure advertising, including ads on other websites and platforms.
  • To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Categories of third parties we share personal information with

We share personal information with the following categories of third parties to run our business:

  • Ecommerce and hosting platform that powers our online store and account features.
  • Payment processors that handle your transactions.
  • Shipping and fulfillment partners that pack and deliver your orders. Free US shipping is provided through a standard carrier, and the carrier handling your order is shown in your shipping confirmation.
  • Subscription, email, and review service providers.
  • Analytics, marketing, and advertising providers that help us understand site usage and deliver and measure advertising.
  • Professional advisors such as accountants and lawyers, and government authorities where required by law.

We may also disclose information as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets, and to protect the rights, safety, and property of Evolution Supplements, our customers, and others.

Sale or sharing of personal information and how to opt out

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, like most online retailers, we use cookies and similar advertising and analytics technologies that may share certain identifiers and internet activity (such as your device identifiers and the pages you view) with advertising and analytics partners. Under several US state privacy laws, this kind of activity can be treated as a "sale" or a "share," or as processing for "targeted advertising." Whether our use of these technologies meets a given law's specific definition of a "sale" or "share" can depend on how that law is interpreted, so we give you a clear way to opt out either way.

We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

How to opt out: You can opt out of this activity in either of these ways:

  • Email us at evolutionadmin@evolutionsupplements.co with the subject line Privacy Request and tell us you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
  • Use an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, as described in the section below. When we receive a recognized signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out for that browser or device.

Sensitive personal information privacy

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or information about your sex life or sexual orientation) in order to sell it, share it, or use it for targeted advertising. We only use any information that could be considered sensitive for purposes that are allowed without consent under applicable law, such as completing your order, providing the products and services you request, securing our systems, and meeting legal obligations. Because we limit our use in this way, we do not offer a separate "limit the use of sensitive personal information" control. If you have questions about sensitive information, contact us using the details below.

Your privacy rights by state

Depending on the state where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know or access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to data portability: request a copy of certain personal information in a portable format.
  • Right to opt out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of processing for targeted advertising.
  • Right to opt out of certain profiling: opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, where applicable.
  • Right to non-discrimination: you will not receive different prices or service for exercising your privacy rights.
  • Right to appeal: appeal a decision we make about your request, as described below.

The exact rights available to you depend on the law in your state:

  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, and non-discrimination. California residents may also request the categories of personal information we disclosed and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to, and may use an authorized agent to submit requests.
  • Virginia: rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale and targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal.
  • Colorado: rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale and targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal.
  • Connecticut: rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale and targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal.
  • Utah: rights to access, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale and targeted advertising.
  • Texas: rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale and targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal.
  • Oregon: rights to access (including a list of specific third parties to which we disclosed personal information), correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale and targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal.

How to submit a privacy request and how to appeal

To exercise any of the rights above, email us at evolutionadmin@evolutionsupplements.co with the subject line Privacy Request. Please tell us which right you want to exercise and include enough information for us to locate your records and verify your identity, such as the name, email address, and shipping address used on your orders. We use this information only to handle your request.

We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the time required by your state's law. To protect your privacy, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we may decline a request if we cannot verify it or if an exception under the law applies. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where the law allows, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.

How to appeal a denial: If we deny your request and you live in a state that provides an appeal right (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), you may appeal by emailing us at evolutionadmin@evolutionsupplements.co with the subject line Privacy Appeal. Tell us the request you are appealing and why. We will review the appeal and respond within the time your state's law requires, and we will explain the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, your state's law may allow you to contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.

Opt-out preference signals and Global Privacy Control privacy

Some browsers and browser extensions let you send an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), that tells websites you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Where required by law, we recognize these signals:

  • In California, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for the browser or device that sends it.
  • In Colorado, we honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms as required from July 1, 2024.
  • In Connecticut, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals as required from January 1, 2025.
  • We also honor these signals in other states where the law requires us to do so.

Because an opt-out preference signal is tied to a specific browser or device, you may need to set it on each browser and device you use. If you are signed in to your account when we receive a signal, we will also try to apply your choice to your account.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, keep your cart and account working, measure traffic, and support advertising. These technologies are part of the standard ecommerce and marketing tools typical of an online store. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of advertising-related sharing as described above and through any cookie controls we make available on the site. For more detail about the specific cookies and similar technologies we use, please see our separate Cookie and Tracking Notice, which works together with this Privacy Policy.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, manage your account and subscriptions, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International note

Evolution Supplements operates internationally and our company account is based in the United Arab Emirates, while our products are shipped to customers in the United States. If you interact with us, your information may be processed in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this policy wherever it is processed.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make significant changes, we will take additional steps to notify you where required by law. Please review this policy periodically.
